Google can now help you find your lost wireless headphones through its app to find lost or stolen devices.

The company has updated the Find My Device app, so it's not just possible now find mobile phones, tablets or watches, but it also offers the possibility of find the Bluetooth headsets through their last recorded position on the map.

Never lose your wireless headphones again.

It is worth noting that, in order to use this feature, the wireless headphones must be compatible with the Google Fast Pair system and be paired with your device using this function.

This system facilitates the pairing process with Android devices and offers some advantages such as the ability to see the level di remaining battery of each headset individually.

More and more models of headphones include this system. Among these, we can find some such as the realme Buds Air, the new Pixel Buds or the OnePlus Buds.

That said, in case you have headphones compatible with this technology and you want know where they are, all you need to do is follow these steps:

  1. Open the Google "Find My Device" app. You can install it via the Play Store if you don't have it yet.
  2. Sign in with the Google account you are using on your device.
  3. If you have more than one device associated with your account, they will all appear in a bar at the top. Tap the image of the headphones you want to find.

That's all. If available, it will appear the exact location the last time the headphones were connected to your device and you can retrieve them if they are still there.

Since the headphones do not have any kind of independent geolocation system, in case the last connection is not available, your location data is likely not showing up in the app and you will have to resort to other methods to be able to retrieve your headset.
