Some tips to better organize your Android phone

Due to the amount of time we spend using ours mobile, it is essential that we manage some applications and shortcuts to make their use more practical and fluid.

This way we can make the most of it by making better use of our time. We leave you some tips that you can use to better manage the functions of your Android device.

Organize your screens

You can create the number of desktops on the home screen of your device as you like. It is recommended not to have more than two or three, otherwise you will be able to access any application much faster if you go directly to the applications menu.

Create or edit your Android Widgets and the applications you use most on the home screen. You can add some icons in the dock part of your device, i.e. at the bottom of the screen.

The apps you add to the dock will remain stationary no matter what home screens you are on, so we recommend using it to place essential apps or those you use frequently.

add an application to the dock, press and hold the application icon and drag it to this area.

Usa i widget

Widgets are a quick way to access certain information in applications without having to open them most of the time. For example, you can use a widget for WhatsApp or Gmail with which you can see the messages you have in your mailbox without reading them without having to open the application.

Or, for example, you can use a weather widget, where you will see some basic information such as maximum and minimum temperature, humidity and current temperature.

To place a widget on the home screen of your device, you just have to choose from some of the available designs you have for each particular application and hold it for a few seconds. Then, holding it down, place the widget somewhere on the screen.

Organize icons on Android by creating folders

You can classify the applications on your device and put them in different folders. You can have these folders in the application menu or in some of the desktops you have created on the home screen.

Each folder can contain up to 12 (twelve) applications within. To create one you just have to press and hold an application and layer it on top. The system will automatically create a folder where it will host both applications.

Organize your app icons

Some Android devices show you the apps you have used recently or the ones you use most frequently at the top of the screen. In addition, you can organize the icons of Android and its applications in alphabetical order, in the order you downloaded them or with a custom order.
