To get this plugin we can install it or search the sources of our Twitch account and we will know if it is available to use it. The other tool we will need is StreamLabs and for this we will go to its official page and log in with our Twitch account, we will activate the notices of Twitch and then we'll log into StreamLabs.

You may be asked for permission, if so, please confirm it and you can now make the necessary changes in Twitch chat. To do this we do not go to the left side of the browser Chatbox Widget. We will now find a URL in the widget URL field and copy it. The next step is to go to OBS Studio and choose the scene where we will place the chat.



Steps to put the chat on a Twitch stream

You need to add a new source that is of the type Browse Source, a name will also be entered on this source. Now the URL we copied earlier needs to be copied and then the changes are saved. After this action, a red bordered box will appear, now you need from Twitch chat, send messages to confirm that everything is working fine.

Now it is possible that Twitch chat is shown in your broadcasts and we will be able to configure its appearance to our liking. The parameters that will be displayed and that you can adjust are as follows. If we want to change the theme shown by default and that's where the messages are shown, we will choose the Themes option.

Now, if you want to show everyone what kind of user you are, for example if you are a subscriber, moderator, turbo, Twitch prime, bit. Then you have to choose the Badge option, you can also hide the user type from here. You can change the font color by selecting Background, if you want to add emoticons select the Extra emoticons option.


Another option that you can configure is the font color of the messages and for this you have to choose Text color. To change the size you need to select Font Size, the option Hide chatter is ideal for hiding fonts. To hide messages that have been going on for some time, you can use the Hide message after option.

Another option that helps you hide fonts but these are defined, you have to choose the Muted Chatters option. And finally, if you know how to work with HTML/CSS, you can customize your chat without any problem with the Enable Custom option. Once your changes have been made and for them to be saved, you need to click on the Save Settings option.
